Sooner or later you have to make a choice.
Is this just one big game, or do I want to become a regular lucid dreamer?
If it’s just a game you can stop reading now.
If you’re ready for a challenge then keep reading…
This might feel strange
I’ve had some good feedback from a couple of people on my email list. If you were one of them I’d love for you to leave a comment below. They’ve been practicing meditation and have seen quick results.
This could be you waking up in the dream world quicker, more often, and for longer than you are now.
I want you to do a simple little challenge. I want you to practice meditation for 5 minutes per day. Just 5 quick minutes. And I don’t even want you to reach the trance state.
I just want you to feel a little strange. That’s all.
You can do this easily
So you just need to feel a little strange and it doesn’t even need to be on the first day. Let’s keep this really easy and say you should feel something within the first 30 days.
But remember, it’s only 5 minutes per day. I’d love for you to do it before you go to sleep. If you don’t want to you can do it whenever you want. Before you go to sleep will be much better so do it before you go to sleep. 🙂
I’m not going to tell you what you should feel. The strange feelings will gradually become stronger and stronger as you get better. You’ll definitely know. Maybe someone who has recently learned it from my article can chime in on a few things they’ve felt in the first month.
Don’t stop yet
Most people will fail at meditation because they are doing it wrong. If you don’t know what a meditative trance feels like you won’t know you’re in one. Those people think they are in one when they’re not.
I’ve spoken to a lot of people who are doing it wrong. Some a little; some completely wrong to the point of thinking they are meditating if they’re sitting completely silent and going over what they’ll cook for dinner.
Just because you sit in the lotus position with your hands clasped, it doesn’t mean you’re meditating. It’s all about what’s going on inside your head.
A completely basic technique
This will just teach you to meditate, but it COULD make you lucid quite easily.
1- To start you need to lie down in a quiet room. Your bed will be fine, but you could do it on the floor.
2 – Slow down your breathing a little so it’s relaxed.
3 – Concentrate on your nostrils. Feel the air come in and go out. Imagine the air is visible and you can see it coming in and going out.
That’s all you need to do.
What to remember
Remember to shift all your awareness onto your nostrils.
If any thoughts pop into your head, don’t interact with them. Realize they are in the background but just shift the awareness back onto the nostrils.
All is not lost if you start thinking about something else. It will happen until you get into the trance. Just shift the awareness back onto the nostrils.
If at some point your awareness is not on the nostrils, just shift your awareness back onto the nostrils.
And lastly, always try and have your awareness directed on the nostrils.
And once more for good luck: don’t think about anything. Just feel and watch the nostrils with all your awareness.
Now watch the magic happen
Remember I told you not to expect miracles when you begin?
Well just keep doing this every day for 5 minutes, longer as you progress if you feel like it.
And within 30 days (rough estimate, but very generous) you should feel something strange happen.
If your awareness isn’t on your nostrils, no thoughts, just feeling and watching, then you’re doing it wrong.
Come back and tell me how it goes. Hopefully the people on the email list (with the extra tips and tricks) are already feeling some strange sensations.
If not, today is the perfect time to start. I promise this is the key to your lucid ability, plus meditation will also change your life.
Did I mention your awareness should be on the nostrils?
